Children’s Place, Disney make deal

Children’s Place Retail Stores Inc., manager of Disney Store clothing shops, said it agreed with Walt Disney Co. to refurbish some locations after missing remodeling deadlines. The accord amends the timeline for store upgrades through 2011.
Without the new agreement, Secaucus, N.J.-based Children’s Place, which operates 328 Disney Stores in the U.S. and Canada, was in danger of losing its Disney license and a credit facility.
