San Bernardino County sheriff’s deputies arrested a registered sex offender this week after getting a report that he had allegedly abducted a 16-year-old boy who had been reported missing.
Curtis Crakaal, 40, was arrested on suspicion of lewd acts with a minor at his home after authorities found the teenager there. Sheriff’s officials said Crakaal contacted the victim through a cellphone social networking site that allows users to post photos and profiles.
Authorities believe there may be other victims and are asking anyone with information to call deputies at (909) 356-6713.
