A year-end recycling project

I enjoyed your article on greener holiday gift giving (“Going evergreen for the holidays,” Nov. 30) and wanted to offer one more suggestion.

Use your soon-to-be-discarded wall calendars, with their lovely photos, to wrap gifts.

You’re going to recycle them anyway, right?
