Update: The Bruins return home after playing tough on the road but coming up short against eighth-ranked Texas. Freshman Drew Gordon sprained his left wrist Thursday night, but tests for serious injury came back negative and he is expected to be available for the game. The Matadors, the preseason choice to win the Big West Conference, have struggled through a tough early schedule that included games at New Mexico, Rider and Drexel. Forwards Willie Galick (11.3) and Tremaine Townsend (11.0) and guard Josh Jenkins (10.3) lead the team in scoring.
