Roommate found shot dead in loft

A resident of a third-floor loft north of downtown was being questioned in connection with the fatal shooting of his roommate on Thursday, a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman said.
Officer Julianne Sohn said police received a call about 2:15 p.m. from a man who said he had just killed another man. Responding officers and paramedics found the victim dead at the scene in the 1700 block of North Main Street, near the San Antonio Winery.
The man who called police said he and his roommate had gotten into an argument and he shot him. The men’s identities were not released.
