Peter Billingsley, who endeared himself to moviegoers for his portrayal of Ralphie in the 1983 movie “A Christmas Story,” has purchased a condominium in Marina del Rey for $1.025 million.
The roomy, two-bedroom unit has 1,850 square feet of interior space plus a landscaped 900-square-foot terrace. Floor-to-ceiling windows, a living room fireplace and maple floors are among the features. There are 2.5 all-marble bathrooms.
The late-’90s building has round-the-clock security, a gym, a swimming pool and a spa.
The purchase came on the heels of Billingsley’s sale of his 2,200-square-foot house in Hollywood Hills for $1.375 million.
The 43-year-old actor-producer has been an executive producer for the series “Sullivan & Son” and “Pursuit of the Truth” and for films including “Iron Man” and “The Break-Up.”
Hat tip goes to Celebrity Address Aerial for uncovering the transaction.
Jesse Weinberg of Keller Williams was the listing agent. Karen Lower of Coldwell Banker represented Billingsley.
