'Bosom Buddies' | 1980-1982

From 1980 to 1984, Hanks turned his attention toward television. “Bosom Buddies,” his first foray, starred Hanks and actor Peter Scolari as two men forced to disguise themselves as women to rent the only apartment they can afford. The comedy show ended in 1982, and Hanks went on to make guest appearances on “Taxi,” “Happy Days” and “Family Ties.”  (CBS / Getty Images)
