Saturday morning cooking shows The Food Channel gets foodies off to an early start with the season premiere of “Guilty Pleasures,” where Tia Mowry finds deep dish pizza in Chicago and Judy Greer gets a guilty helping of grilled cheese in Los Angeles, 7 a.m. Food. Then “Top 5 Restaurants” returns for a new season with a list of the most heavenly fried meals, 7:30 a.m. “Farmhouse Rules” ends its season at 10:30.

Angel From Hell The canceled Jane Lynch-starring sitcom returns with two episodes that didn’t air previously. 8 and 8:30 p.m. CBS

Hell on Wheels Bohannon (Anson Mount) manages a complicated Chinese labor strike while Durant (Colm Meaney) pulls Mickey (Phil Burke) deeper into his intrigues and into Union Pacific business. 9 p.m. AMC

The American West This new episode of the documentary series follows General Custer on his way to a fateful confrontation with the Sioux at Little Big Horn. Elsewhere, Jesse James targets a major bank in the northern territory. 10 p.m. AMC

That’s Entertainment! This 1974 feature film offers an enjoyable compilation of clips and scenes from classic MGM musicals. Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor, James Stewart and Liza Minnelli introduce favorite segments from 1928-58, 5 p.m. TCM. That’s followed by two films prominently featured. At 7:30 p.m. Howard Keel and Jane Powell star in 1954’s “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” and, at 9:30, Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra in 1949’s “On the Town.”

Suffragette Director Sarah Gavron’s 2015 British historical drama chronicles how working mother Maud Watts (Carey Mulligan) is inspired by activist Emmeline Pankhurst (Meryl Streep) and joins the growing British suffragette movement in the early 20th century. Helena Bonham Carter, Natalie Press, Brendan Gleeson, Ben Whishaw and Anne-Marie Duff also star. 8 p.m. HBO

Southpaw Jake Gyllenhaal stars in director Antoine Fuqua’s 2015 drama as a boxer who struggles to overcome an injury and a personal tragedy to defend his title against a cocky rival (Miguel Gomez). With Forest Whitaker, Rachel McAdams, Naomie Harris, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Rita Ora and boxer Victor Ortiz. 9 p.m. Showtime
