Nathan Lane joining ‘The Good Wife’

Nathan Lane is joining the already fully-stuffed cast of “The Good Wife” for the CBS drama’s fourth season. The actor’s recurring role is in addition to the already announced cast additions of Maura Tierney, Marc Warren and Kristin Chenoweth.
Lane will debut in the season premiere as a bottom-line-obsessed manager attempting to cut costs to get the law firm back to financial health.
The series, which stars Emmy winner Julianna Margulies, has recieved multiple awards and honors during its three seasons on the air, including a Peabody Award, and a Golden Globe, SAG Award and the Emmy for Margulies.
Lane himself has been much honored for his work on Broadway, taking home two Tony awards. In fact, the cast of “The Good Wife” is filled with Tony Award-winners, including Christine Baranski, Alan Cumming and now Chenoweth.
