LeBron James had his struggles during Game 4 Thursday of the current NBA Finals showdown between his Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors, but the game was a monster hit, reaching its highest mark of the series so far.
The match, which ended in a 103-82 victory by the Warriors, had an average viewership of 19.8 million viewers, according to Nielsen, topping the previous series high of 19.2 million viewers who tuned in to Game 2 on Sunday.
The best-of-seven series is tied at two games apiece, with the next match scheduled for Sunday.
Despite both teams coming from relatively small markets, this finals series is hailed as one of the most exciting in years due to James’ outstanding play and his quest to win his hometown, Cleveland, its first title.
Golden State, meanwhile, has its own attraction with high-scoring MVP Stephen Curry.
