Peace Love Shea and shoes: Steve Madden launches new collection

Shea Marie, the Los Angeles-based fashion blogger at Peace Love Shea, has dipped a toe into the shoe business in a collaboration with Steve Madden.
It’s Madden’s first collaboration with a West Coast fashion blogger, and it may be no surprise that the seven styles are named for Los Angeles street and place names, prefaced by a “T”: T-Rodeo, T-Ventura, T-Fairfax and so on.
Shea Marie says in a video that she was going for “dark and edgy” in the Shea Peace Love X Steve Madden capsule collection.
It includes just about every style a fashion-forward girl might want for fall, from the T-Fairfax sneaker decked out in spikes to the 4-inch-stiletto-heeled T-Tarzana ankle-strap to the T-Studio faux-python bootie.
And then there’s the thigh-high, corset-lace T-Ocean boot. Haute and hot.
Prices range from $149.95 to $229.95. The shoes are available online now and at bricks-and-mortar stores on Thursday.
And in case you’re not completely sure what you’d wear with a thigh-high boot or spiked sneaker, no worries. The website includes helpful styling tips. (Mini-skirt and statement necklace with the former; denim shorts, track jacket and satin baseball cap with the latter.)
