New granola bars at Dunkin’ Donuts. And of course they’re coffee-flavored

Dunkin’ Donuts may best be known for its coffee and carb-laden breakfast offerings. Remember when they launched the glazed doughnut breakfast sandwich with bacon? But the doughnut chain is venturing into the protein bar market with a coffee-flavored granola bar.
The new Dunkin’ Go bars are meant to taste like the brand’s Original Blend Coffee. They have 220 calories, seven grams of protein, and are made with whole grains.
You know, for the people who stop into a doughnut shop looking for something healthful to munch on. Or for when you can’t decide on a granola bar or a cup of coffee.
The new bars will be available at participating locations nationwide Monday, including the new Dunkin’ Donuts on Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica.
The brand is also partnering with Wrigley Foodservice to make Orbit gum and Altoids mints available in October. Now you’ll be able to hide your coffee, doughnut and granola breath before you get to work.
