Minotti’s holiday light show (and sale)
When it comes to holiday lights, the Italian design house Minotti is not to be outdone. Through the end of the year, the firms Los Angeles showroom has a special display of more than two dozen chandeliers, sconces and lamps by the famed glass maker Venini, including the Esprit Pendant, made from 450-plus pounds of black glass tulips and clear stars. The 5-foot-diameter dazzler took three days to assemble and costs nearly $150,000. Looky-loos, take note: Select floor models of more modest Venini lighting from $1,500 table lamps to $3,000 sconces have been reduced 20%. 8936 Beverly Blvd.; (310) 278-6851; www.minotti-la.com.
