Some readers may vehemently disagree with Mike Males and his “Boomergeddon” conclusions (“The Boomer Buster,” by Shawn Hubler, Los Angeles Times Magazine, Jan. 22).

The article “The House of the Spirit” (by Mark Kendall, Jan. 8) gives the impression that Pentecostalism originated in Los Angeles and sort of popped out of nowhere.

Free at last? Hmm, I don’t think so.
