Earthquake: 3.3 quake strikes south of downtown L.A.

A shallow magnitude 3.3 earthquake was reported Wednesday night near Cudahy, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 11:39 p.m. PDT at a depth of 9.3 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was in Bell. In the past 10 days, there have been no earthquakes magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
