Driver sought in fatal hit-and-run that dragged victim for several blocks in South L.A.

Police are searching for the driver in a fatal hit-and-run in South Los Angeles early Thursday in which the victim was dragged for several blocks, according to authorities.
The victim, who was not identified, was found around 12:50 a.m. near 84th Place and Central Avenue and pronounced dead at the scene, Los Angeles police officers said.
No further information was immediately available, including whether the victim was male or female. Police are continuing their investigation.
