A homeless man in a wheelchair was found dead outside a Riverside barber shop Sunday morning, authorities said.
The man died after he was assaulted, but police did not specify how. The man’s body was found around 4:30 a.m. in the 3300 block of Iowa Avenue, according to the Riverside Police Department.
The victim was not immediately identified but police said he was a well-known transient in the area near the strip mall center that includes the barber shop.
