Two Inglewood police officers shot; active shooter in area

Two Inglewood police officers were shot Wednesday afternoon and taken to a local hospital, Inglewood police officials said.
Their conditions were not known.
The shooting occurred near 108th Street and 5th Avenue. Los Angeles County Fire Inspector Keith Mora said there are reports of an active shooter still in the area. Several media outlets reported a possible barricade situation.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said it is assisting Inglewood police.
L.A. County paramedics did not transport any wounded people. KTLA reported that at least one officer was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in a patrol car.
