Do we really need people to be encouraged to vote? (“To help cure California’s voter registration woes, look to the Obamacare website,” Opinion, May 6) Regular voters show up because they have informed opinions and want to make their voices heard. They need no other motivation.
Encouraging more people to vote increases the number of ignorant voters. This his how California gets stuck with a bullet train going nowhere.
