Live results: Senate and House seats up for grabs in Nevada

Democrats are watching Nevada to see if they can pull off another U.S. Senate coup in an acrimonious race two years after Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid executed a stunning victory in a race he was expected to lose.
This year’s senatorial saga has spooled out as an attack-ad-riddled contest between the incumbent Republican Sen. Dean Heller and his Democratic challenger, longtime U.S. Rep. Shelley Berkley, with unfavorable numbers increasing for both candidates as the race has dragged on.
Meanwhile, for a couple cycles now, Nevada’s unpredictable 3rd Congressional District has been the reef against which incumbents’ campaigns have met an untimely end: Three-term Republican incumbent Jon Porter bowed out in 2008 to Democrat Dina Titus, who voters then showed the door in 2010.
Republican U.S. Rep. Joe Heck took her place and now faces a strong challenge from Democrat John Oceguera, as both men have tacked to the center in an effort to find a winning electorate.
