Women’s tennis: Pirates take care of Riverside

RIVERSIDE - The Orange Coast College women’s tennis team completed

the first round of Orange Empire Conference with a 7-2 win over host

Riverside Tuesday.

Veronica Sommer and Raphaela Boehm each won in singles competition,

then teamed up to win in doubles to lead the Pirates (8-1, 6-0 in

conference).

OCC will play at Saddleback March 22, at 2 p.m.
