SCHOOL LUNCH MENU

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree if

desired. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot

entree. School lunches are $1.75 each; the district does not accept

checks for less than $17.50. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY

Munchable Lunch Salad with Dannon fruit yogurt or chicken and Monterey

jack burrito with salsa, corn on the cob, strawberries, choice of milk

WEDNESDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or state fair corn dog, crisp green salad with

low fat dressing, choice of fruit, choice of milk

THURSDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or spaghetti with meatballs and marinara sauce,

fresh baked roll, choice of fruit, choice of milk

FRIDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or grilled cheese sandwich, crisp green salad

with low fat dressing, frozen 100% fruit juice bar, choice of milk

MONDAY

Munchable Lunch Salad or Oscar Meyer all beef hot dog on a bun, veggie

sticks, 100% fruit juice, choice of milk

* The Munchable Lunch Salad contains tossed greens, cherry tomatoes,

crackers and protein sources such as cheese, sunflower seeds, fruit

yogurt, honey-roasted peanuts and dressing.
