Boys volleyball: Sea Kings stunned by Northwood

IRVINE - Too many missed serves plus too many hitting errors equals
one tough loss for the Corona del Mar High boys volleyball team.
The Sea Kings lost to host Northwood, 12-15, 18-16, 15-11, 9-15, 15-4,
Wednesday in Pacific Coast League action.
Forrest Mack led CdM (7-3, 6-1 in league) with 30 kills, while Charlie
Alshuler chipped in 19.
Setter Evan Burden paced the offense with 73 assists to go along with
his five kills and 11 blocks. “With all his running around, he must have
ran three miles tonight,” Coach Steve Conti said.
The Sea Kings will play at Estancia tonight at 6.
