* Santa Ana Avenue: A grand theft was reported in the 1700 block at

7:09 p.m. Tuesday.

* Victoria Street: An assault was reported in the 300 block at 8:12

p.m. Tuesday.

NEWPORT BEACH

* Newport Center Drive: A video projector was reported stolen from a

conference room in the 600 block at 1:23 p.m. Tuesday.

* West Coast Highway: A jacket and a cellular phone were reported

stolen in the 2300 block at 8:10 a.m. Tuesday.
