COSTA MESA: Fairview Road: A resident complained to police of a
trespasser on private property in the 2600 block at 4:12 p.m.
Hamilton Street: Police received a complaint from a resident upset
after receiving a number of annoying phone calls at a residence in the
600 block at 10:26 p.m.
Pomona Avenue: Police received a vandalism complaint from a resident
in the 14900 block at 2:08 p.m. Thursday.
Samar Place: Someone reported a prowler lurking around the 1600 block
at 12:56 a.m. Thursday.
NEWPORT BEACH:
Harbor Island: Someone reportedly stole a cell phone valued at $200
from a bait box in the 800 block 10 a.m. Saturday.
36th Street: A woman told police that someone had taken a necklace
worth about $6,000 from a jewelry box hidden in the hall closet of a
residence in the 100 block at 10:21 a.m. Thursday.
Via Palermo: An unlocked bicycle worth $1,400 was reported stolen from
the open garage of a home in the 200 block at 11:17 a.m. Thursday.
West Coast Highway: Someone reportedly tried to pry a Bravo 1 outdrive
from a 26-foot Donzi ZX boat, failing after removing four of five bolts
and facing a locking mechanism, at a boat sales yard in the 600 block at
10:20 a.m.
