*Beach Boulevard and Slater Avenue: Concern about people standing too
close to Beach Boulevard waving flags and holding candles was reported at
8:05 p.m. Friday.
*Beach Boulevard and Warner Avenue: Two Hispanics on the top floor of
a parking lot engaging in narcotics activity was reported at 10:29 p.m.
Friday.
*Bolsa Chica Road: A mooning incident at a Carl’s Jr. parking lot was
reported at 11:50 a.m. Sept. 13 in the 16000 block.
*Branford Drive: A male intruder climbing through a second floor
window was reported at 9:29 a.m. Sept. 13 in the 4200 block.
*Brookhurst Street: A figurine stolen from a front yard was reported
at 9:40 a.m. Sunday in the 19300 block.
*Brookhurst Street: Indecent exposure was reported at 2:37 p.m. Sept.
13 in the 21500 block.
*Brookhurst Street: A female reported a suspicious package at her
apartment at 7:17 a.m. Friday in the 21500 block.
*Busby Lane: People setting off bottle rockets were reported at 3:20
p.m. Saturday in the 16700 block.
*Center Avenue and Gothard Street: A suspicious female laying on her
back with knees in the air and arms over her face was reported at 3:38
p.m. Friday.
*Chaucer Lane: Narcotics activity was reported at 1:54 p.m. Sunday in
the 20000 block.
*Dolores Street: A woman reported her boyfriend came to her residence
and kicked a hole in the front door at 1:03 a.m. Sept. 13 in the 16600
block.
*Edgewater Lane: Broken bottles and trash in a man’s driveway were
reported at 9:58 a.m. Saturday in the 17000 block.
*Edinger Avenue and Trinidad Lane: A port-o-potty in the middle of the
street was reported at 1:22 a.m. Sunday.
*Edwards Street and Lennox Drive: Loud, annoying screams were reported
at 10:16 p.m. Friday.
*11th Street: Money believed stolen from a rented room by management
was reported at 3:34 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block.
*Garfield Avenue: A male in a white Chevrolet Astrovan was reported
chasing a silver 4-door vehicle at 8:58 p.m. Friday in the 7600 block.
*Goldenwest Street: A male subject leaning against a meat counter for
40 minutes was reported at 2:31 p.m. Sunday in the 19000 block.
*Grimsby Drive: A prowler that jumped over a fence and ran through a
resident’s backyard was reported at 2:53 a.m. Sunday in the 5700 block.
*Heil Avenue: Four people drinking and urinating in a parking lot was
reported at 6:23 a.m. Sunday in the 4800 block.
*Huntington Street: A prowler that broke into a house and started a
fight with a male resident was reported at 12:11 a.m. Sunday in the 1300
block.
*Koledo Lane: A hit-and-run misdemeanor was reported at 9:13 p.m.
Friday in the 17300 block.
*Main Street: A female resident came home and found her back door open
at 7:45 p.m. Sept. 13 in the 1800 block.
*Pickwick Circle: A caller upset a male was walking his dog on a
soccer field was reported at 6:40 p.m. Sept. 13 in the 4300 block.
*Sandbar Lane: Approximately six to 10 subjects dancing, playing loud
music and throwing beer bottles onto Delaware Street were reported at
3:36 a.m. Sunday in the 20000 block.
*7th Street: A 1991 Limited Edition Jeep Cherokee was reported stolen
at 3:25 p.m. Sept. 13 in the 400 block.
*Simmone Drive: A former roommate taking plants from a woman’s yard
was reported at 4:32 p.m. Sunday in the 16600 block.
*Springdale Street: A female that stole two batteries from a 99-cent
store was reported at 9:16 p.m. Sunday in the 15900 block.
*Starfire Lane: Someone trying to break into the upstairs patio of a
residence was reported at 5:52 p.m. Sept. 13 in the 21700 block.
*Sycamore Avenue and Ash Street: A male cutting tree branches, who was
not a city worker, was reported at 11:17 a.m. Friday.
*Warner Avenue: A subject that stole a purse and a frying pan before
leaving on foot was reported at 5:59 p.m. Saturday in the 6900 block.
*Warner Avenue: A white 1987 Toyota pickup was reported stolen at 3:06
p.m. Friday in the 7100 block.
*Wieder Park: A male riding a blue and white dirt bike on the grass at
the park was reported at 5:59 p.m. Saturday.
