Search continues for former Costa Mesa resident

Authorities were continuing to search for a former Costa Mesa woman suffering from dementia who was reported missing June 1.

Janet DeFelice, 88, had recently moved from Costa Mesa to the 5200 block of Santa Rita Ranch Road near Templeton. Her family said she suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, although she has never been formally diagnosed.

DeFelice is 5-foot-7, weighs 130 pounds and was last seen wearing a red sweatshirt, black sweatpants, white tennis shoes and gold-rimmed glasses.
