GLENDORA — OCC sophomore guard Shaun Engle, who was named all-tournament, scored 14 points, while sophomore guard Brian Gee led the Pirates with 23 in the title game of the Citrus Tournament Sunday night at Citrus College.
Gee was seven of 10 from the field, including four of seven from three-point range for the Pirates (2-5).
Citrus improved to 8-0.

IRVINE — Freshman center Kim Barnes scored a career-best 16 points for the Anteaters in the nonconference game Saturday night at the Bren Events Center.
Barnes, a 6-foot-4 center from New Zealand, was six of seven from the field and four of four from the foul line in 20 minutes off the bench. She collected three rebounds, one blocked shot and one steal, as the Anteaters (2-3) forced 28 turnovers.
UCI has won two straight.
Senior Stephanie Duda had 12 points and a team-high 11 rebounds and two steals for UCIs, for which 14 players scored.
Sacramento State fell to 0-4.

OAKLAND — Senior Jessica Richter scored 25 points and senior Melissa Cook added 19, including five three-pointers, in the second game of the round-robin Holy Names Thanksgiving Classic Saturday at Holy Names University.
Four starters from No. 2-ranked Vanguard shot at least 50% from the field to help the Lions improve to 3-1.
Richter, the NAIA National Player of the Year as a junior, made 11 of 22 field-goal attempts, including three three-pointers, while Cook was seven of 15 from the field, including five of nine from three-point range.
Freshman point guard Sarah Boyd made five of nine field-goal tries on her way to 12 points, and she added 10 assists and four steals, both team-highs, for the winners.
