SANTA ANA — Eagles senior guard Steffi Ramirez made the game-winning jumper with about 20 seconds to play, helping Estancia get its first win of the season in a Century Tournament consolation bracket game Saturday.
Freshman Kassie Stratton scored a game-high 22 points for the Eagles (1-3), who were down three with 45 seconds left, Coach Tommy Rausch said. But sophomore guard Erika Soto got a steal and layup, and was fouled. The free throw was missed but senior guard Tiffany Monteiro grabbed the offensive rebound and Ramirez nailed the jumper.

ANAHEIM — Estancia High defeated Pacifica, 8-1, and Torrance, 9-2, to finish in ninth place at the tournament Saturday at Cypress High.
Freshman Haley Kunert scored six goals in each game for the Eagles (5-1).
Junior Emily Kaplan made seven saves against Pacifica and eight against Torrance.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Lightning senior forward Preston Oklejas had a career-high 33 points in the seventh-place game of the Brethren Christian Tournament Saturday.
Oklejas also had 12 rebounds for Sage Hill (1-3), for which Troy Astorino had eight points and Connor Rose had six points and six assists.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Corona del Mar High lost a pair of pool-play games Saturday at Ocean View High, falling to Mayfair and Troy by 1-0 scores.
Coach Bryan Middleton said the Sea Kings (1-3) gave up a controversial Pacifica goal with five minutes to play, when the referee ruled that a would-be save occurred on the goal line.
Troy converted a free kick with five minutes left.
CdM freshman Lindsey Luke made five saves against Mayfair and eight against Troy.
