Realtors seek raffle items for fashion show

The Laguna Board of Realtors is holding its ninth annual Laguna’s Only Fashion Show, “Successorize,” on March 13 at Tivoli Too. Sponsors are being sought to provide raffle items for the event. Businesses wishing to donate items must notify the board by Feb. 15.

The fashion show will feature local luminaries modeling new clothing and accessories. Instead of a luncheon, this year’s event will take place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. with lavish appetizers.

The show will benefit South Coast Medical Center, No Square Theatre and the Laguna Beach Woman’s Club.

Nancy Pooley of First Team Realty is leading a 17-member committee, with Patricia Truman of Prudential Realty as event coordinator. Arts Commissioner and entertainer Pat Kollenda will co-emcee with Jerry Beiser of Chicago Title Company.

Local retailers part of ‘blowout’ weekend sale

Laguna Beach retailers including Black Flamingo, Elle H, Little Bohemian, Satisfy My Soul and Rococo will participate in the Blue Dot boutique sale at the Orange County Fairgrounds, Building 16, Saturday and Sunday.

The sale will feature sale prices of up to 75% off designer clothing and accessories from more than two dozen Orange County boutiques.

Admission for the cash-only event is $25 for the VIP preshop from 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 2 or $12 for general admission from noon to 5 p.m. Feb. 2 or 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 3.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit CASA of Orange County, a charity that works with at risk youth in the foster care system.
