TUESDAY

Broadway: A sign was reported ripped from a flower bed and another sign ripped from a back door of a business at 11:29 a.m. in the 200 block.

Chiquita Street: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 3:25 a.m. in the 200 block.

Forest Avenue: A Costa Mesa man was arrested at 11:07 a.m. on suspicion of petty theft from a surf shop after being chased down the street by a store employee in the 200 block.

Legion Street: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of riding a bicycle while intoxicated at 2:03 a.m. at South Coast Highway.

Miramar Street: A 36-year-old woman who had rolled down a hill was rescued with a backboard at 12:56 p.m. in the 900 block.

Third Street: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 11:57 p.m. in the 400 block.

MONDAY

Forest Avenue: A Newport Beach man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 2:32 a.m. in the 300 block.

Glenneyre Street: A homeless man allegedly took $40 from a woman who had offered the money to someone who could help her get back into her car, which she was locked out of, at 12:53 a.m. in a market in the 800 block.

Vista del Sol: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 7:57 p.m. after being reported driving erratically in a gated area near Coast Highway.

SUNDAY

Broadway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 10:50 p.m. at the bus depot in the 300 block.

Ceanothus Drive: Estimated damages of $7,000 to a Hummer were reported at 11:53 a.m. after a substance was poured on it in the 31000 block.

Mermaid Street: A teenager was accused of kicking a car and damaging it at 1:34 p.m. at 2nd Street.

North Coast Highway: A Carlsbad man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 12:48 a.m. at North Coast Highway.

Ocean Avenue: A Wisconsin man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 4:48 p.m. at Beach Street.

South Coast Highway: A Costa Mesa man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 6:25 p.m. in the 1200 block.

Thalia Street: A credit card was reported at 9:36 a.m. to have been used fraudulently to charge $1,504 in the 600 block.

SATURDAY

Broadway: A Santa Ana man was arrested on suspicion of DUI at 1:16 a.m. at Beach Street.

Coast Highway: Juveniles were reportedly smashing windows and spray-painting an abandoned house at 9:28 a.m. on the beach in the 31900 block.

Corona Way: A 40-year-old man needed medical attention after he fell from a tree into a driveway at 11:07 a.m. in the 2500 block.

Forest Avenue: A burning bush was extinguished at 2:39 p.m. at a parking lot in the 500 block.

Myrtle Street: A beer can was reportedly thrown through a car window, breaking it, at 4:06 a.m. at Cliff Drive.

North Coast Highway: A 40-year-old man was transported to the hospital at 1:43 p.m. for treatment after he fell off a skateboard in the 300 block.

Ocean Avenue: An Ontario, Canada, man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after he was found passed out at 12:30 a.m. in the 200 block.

FRIDAY

Laguna Canyon Road: A table and statue were reported stolen at 10:07 a.m. from a gallery in the 800 block.

Laguna Canyon Road: A purse was reported stolen within the hour at 7:16 p.m. from a vehicle parked at a club in the 20000 block.

Ocean Avenue: A cellphone was reported stolen at 5:17 p.m. from a bar in the 200 block.

South Coast Highway: A 55-year-old man was assisted at 1:32 p.m. after he hurt his knee on the basketball court in the 100 block of Main Beach.

THURSDAY

North Coast Highway: A Lake Forest man was arrested at 3:30 p.m. on suspicion of attempting to sell narcotics and possessing narcotics at a shopping complex in the 600 block.

North Coast Highway: A headless pigeon was reported at 5:19 p.m., but was not believed to be related to a rash of beheaded animals found several months ago on local beaches, in the 100 block.

Temple Terrace: A battery was reported stolen from a vehicle at 3:05 p.m. in the 1200 block.

WEDNESDAY

North Coast Highway: A homeless man was taken to the hospital at 2:26 p.m. after appearing to be about to pass out at a bus stop in the 1400 block.
