Children’s foundation adds four locals as directors

Four local men and women will join the board of directors of the Orangewood Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit helping abused and neglected children in Orange County.

Frank Suryan, of Newport Beach, is the chief executive of Lyon Capital Ventures. He has been involved in the Orangewood’s management as a member of the foundation’s Development Committee. He has also served on Mater Dei High School’s board of directors.

Christyne Sutton Olson, also of Newport, is a long-time Orangewood supporter. She chaired its Orange Blossom Bash event committee for three years.

Jeff Roos, of Irvine, is the Southwest Regional president of Lennar Corporation, a leading national home-building company. As a founding member of the Lennar Charitable Housing Foundation, he has been instrumental in financially assisting home-builders in solving the country’s homeless problem.

Carol Wilken is a Newport Beach philanthropist who has been on the boards of directors for charitable organizations including the Orange County Performing Arts Center, the United Way and the Orange County Community Foundation.
