RESTAURANT ROUNDUP:

Zinc Cafe and Market, a vegetarian restaurant in Corona del Mar, has introduced wine and cheese nights every Friday.

The restaurant, 3222 E. Coast Hwy., offers a wine selection from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, along with a tasting menu of cheese, vegetables and more. Valerie McDaniel, the Zinc wine and cheese educator, hosts the events. The menu for this Friday includes three Spanish wines and three kinds of Cabernet Sauvignon from different regions.

Zinc has been hosting the wine and cheese nights for more than three months, and General Manager Tyler King said the turnout had grown steadily.
