The women’s career education organization WomanSage has several $100 scholarships and many $50 scholarships available for its upcoming “Own Your Power” conference in Costa Mesa. The conference, 8 a.m. Oct. 25 at the Orange County Hilton, 3050 Bristol St., costs $125.
WomanSage’s Re-Invent Yourself! program is the only national career-enhancement program specifically targeting women age 45 and older. The new program will be introduced at the conference.
The daylong event features keynotes by author Gail Sheehy and Oprah mind, body, spirit counselor Kathy Freston.
At the conference, women who want to go back to school or explore new career options will hear from a panel headed by Pauline Abbott, director of the Institute on Gerontology at Cal State Fullerton. Counselors as well as women who have made midlife career changes also will speak.
More Information on scholarships is available at www.womansage.org.
