Animal control to host rabies clinic for your pets

Newport Beach’s Animal Control is hosting its annual low-cost rabies clinic this weekend.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday dog and cat owners can get their pets’ rabies shots for as little as $4 each. Other types of vaccinations will also be available, and all dogs must be leashed and all cats must be within carriers when at the clinic.

Saturday’s clinic will be at the Newport Beach Animal Shelter, also known as the Dover Shores Pet Care Center, 2075 Newport Blvd. For more information, call the animal shelter at (949) 722-7387.
