Man robs Wells Fargo, makes off with thousands

Police are seeking leads in the Saturday afternoon robbery of a Wells Fargo bank at 19840 Beach Blvd.

A slim white male in his 30s, with a pock-marked face and mustache, robbed the bank at about 2:45 p.m., after presenting a note demanding money to a teller, police said.

The suspect was wearing a button-down shirt, and was about 5 feet, 7 inches, 145 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair, according to police.

No weapon was seen; he left on foot with a leather bank bag containing about $2,000 to $3,000, police said.
