IRVINE — The Anteaters posted an 18-11 advantage in shots and had 11 shots on goal to the Matadors’ five in the Big West Conference clash Thursday night at Anteaters Stadium.

Sophomore Danielle de Seriere had five saves to post her third shutout of the season for UCI (8-7-2, 2-2-2 in conference).

UCI scoring leader Kate Berrini led the hosts with seven shots, three on goal.

The two teams played two scoreless overtime periods.

Leah Elliott had 11 saves for the Matadors (7-7-2, 2-2-1).

UCI returns to action Oct. 31 at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
