Juan Uribe injures hamstring in Dodgers’ loss to Giants

The Dodgers expect to learn more Friday about the severity of Juan Uribe’s hamstring injury.
Uribe felt something painful in his right hamstring Thursday night when grounding into an inning-ending double play in the seventh inning, according to Manager Don Mattingly. Uribe was removed in the ninth inning.
Speaking after the Dodgers’ 3-1, 11-inning loss to the San Francisco Giants, Mattingly said he didn’t know the extent of Uribe’s injury.
But Mattingly said, “It was enough to get him out of there.”
Uribe is batting .306 with four home runs and 17 runs batted in.
If he is sidelined, the Dodgers would likely turn to Justin Turner or Chone Figgins to play third base.
