Baseball: Santa Margarita defeats Huntington Beach in Sunset vs. Trinity League Challenge

It was the 2014 Southern Section Division 1 champions vs. the 2015 Division 1 champions.
Santa Margarita knocked off Huntington Beach, 4-3, in an opening game of the Sunset vs. Trinity League Baseball Challenge on Saturday.
Sophomore Chandler Champlain had two hits for Santa Margarita. Hagen Danner had a two-run double for Huntington Beach, expected to be the No. 1 team when the baseball season officially begins later this month.
In another game, Mater Dei defeated Los Alamitos, 3-1. J.T. Jazinski threw four no-hit innings for the Monarchs.
