Boys’ basketball: Price improves to 7-0

Los Angeles Price improved to 7-0 with an 81-50 win over Huntington Beach in the quarterfinals of the Westminster tournament on Tuesday. Roderick Williams and James Washington each scored 21 poins. Larond Willimas had 15 points and 10 rebounds. Corona del Mar defeated Downey, 61-53.
In the North Orange County tournament, La Mirada defeated Paramount, 74-42. Vittorio Reynoso-Avila scored 30 points. Sonora defeated Long Beach Wilson, 79-32, with Christian Rhodes scoring 30 points. Servite defeated Diamond Bar, 55-50. Trevor Treinen and Anastasios Marcopulos each scored 19 points.
In the Inland Empire Classic, Rancho Cucamonga defeated Colton, 64-29. Tamer Jabsheh scored 12 points. Rancho Cucamonga is 6-1.
In the La Canada tournament, La Canada defeated Arcadia, 64-56. Koko Kurdoghlian had 29 points.
Oak Park defeated Rio Mesa, 66-30. Michael Alvarez scored 20 points and Riley Battin 17.
