Boys’ basketball: Ajon Efferson commits to Cal State Northridge

Ajon Efferson, a senior point guard at Pasadena who won championships at Taft, Gardena Serra and Pasadena, has committed to Cal State Northridge.
“They wanted him bad,” Coach Tony Brooks said. “He’s happy.”
Efferson will be reunited at Northridge with a couple of players he knows from his Taft days when he was a freshman, Stephen Maxwell and Kevin Johnson.
