Boys’ basketball: Ball brothers lead Chino Hills to tourney title

It was only a fall basketball tournament, but the Ball brothers, Lonzo, a junior, and LiAngelo, a sophomore, showed what the winter might be like, leading Chino Hills past Maranatha, 90-66, in the championship game of the Ron Massey Memorial Classic on Sunday at Long Beach Jordan.
Lonzo is committed to UCLA and don’t be surprised if Bruins Coach Steve Alford starts paying attention to LiAngelo, who scored 35 points and had seven threes. Lonzo had 19 points.
Tyler Dorsey scored 25 points for Maranatha.
