Boys’ basketball: Bob Webb is hired at Pacific Hills to be head coach

Bob Webb, a former UCLA basketball player who used to be the head coach at Montclair Prep, has been hired as the head coach at Pacific Hills, the school announced on Monday.
Webb has also coached at the collegiate and professional level and was a successful girls’ basketball coach at Montclair Prep besides also coaching the boys’ team.
He replaces Ivan Barahona, who resigned to become an assistant at Cal State Los Angeles.
Webb was a reserve player at UCLA during the John Wooden era.
