Boys’ basketball: Chino Hills reaches 100 points for the 12th time

The state record for most times a high school basketball team has scored 100 or more points is 18, and unbeaten Chino Hills (23-0) is on pace to threaten the record.
The Huskies scored 100 or more points for the 12th time on Tuesday, a 106-90 victory over Rancho Cucamonga in a Baseline League game. Freshman LaMelo Ball had 27 points, LiAngelo Ball had 26 and Lonzo Ball 23.
Etiwanda defeated Los Osos, 65-47. Kessler Edwards had 19 points. Damien defeated Upland, 69-40.
In the Gold Coast, Sierra Canyon started slow but came away with an 82-61 win over Viewpoint. Devearl Ramsey scored 21 points and Michael Feinberg 16. Kody Knox led Viewpoint with 14 points. Windward defeated Crossroads, 76-62. Jules Bernard had 18 points, Jalen Harris 16 and Payton Moore 15.
Jordan Cohen scored 27 points in Campball Hall’s 63-57 win over McAuliffe. Brentwood defeated Paraclete, 55-50.
In the Foothill League, Hart improved to 7-0 with a 65-43 win over Canyon. Chad Donohoe had 21 points. Golden Valley defeated Valencia, 75-68. West Ranch defeated Saugus, 57-36.
In the Olympic League, Trevor Stanback scored 17 points in Maranatha’s 61-56 win over Village Christian.
Redondo defeated Morningside, 98-77. Ryse Williams scored 26 points.
Joel Finney scored 41 points in Central City’s 70-41 win over Annenberg.
