Boys’ basketball: Coaches, athletes headed to China

Santa Maria St. Joseph basketball Coach Tom Mott is leading 16 coaches and 24 high school players to Shenzhen and Wuhan, China, for the fourth annual One Dream Elite Basketball Camp.

Crespi Coach Russell White is among the coaches participating in the camp from July 3-18. There will be some 500 Chinese coaches and a youth camp for 200 Chinese players.

The American coaches and players will also participate in cultural exchanges and some games. Several players from Crespi are going on the trip.
