Boys’ basketball: Harvard-Westlake is set to play four freshmen on varsity
- Share via
Coming off a state Division IV championship and with four of five starters returning, including sophomore Cassius Stanley, Harvard-Westlake’s basketball program is adding four freshmen expected to play on the varsity.
Coach David Rebibo believes all four have college potential.
They are 6-foot-6 Johnny Juzang, the brother of former Viewpoint standout Christian Juzang; 6-8 Mason Hooks; 6-5 Terren Frank, and 6-4 Brase Dottin.
The freshmen have been getting adjusted this summer. Juzang should be the most mature, having repeated eighth grade and has great versatility. Hooks is big and physical. Frank could grow to 6-9. Dottin can shoot.
They’ll join an already strong Mission League that features defending state Division II champion Crespi and a tough Alemany team.
