Boys’ basketball: San Fernando Valley Invitational begins on Wednesday

Tournament play begins on Wednesday in the San Fernando Valley Invitational, with Kennedy, Granada Hills, Crespi and Alemany serving as sites.
On Thursday at Kennedy, Chatsworth is playing Village Christian at 5:30 p.m. followed by Kennedy and Chaminade at 7 p.m.
On Thursday, Cathedral is playing Simi Valley at 7 p.m. at Granada Hills.
Games on Wednesday will be held at Granada Hills and Crespi.
