Alemany continued its success in summer seven on seven passing tournaments by winning the Bonita tournament on Saturday, defeating Norco in the championship game.
Offensively, quarterback Brevin White, receivers Jarrin Pierce and Cayden Dunn and sophomore running back Jordan Anderson made major contributions. On defense, Brian Barry, Guy Alford and Lamin Touray were the standouts.
Alemany Coach Dean Herrington said he was impressed with Norco, which features Michigan-bound quarterback Victor Viramontes.
“Norco is going to be good,” Herrington said. “They’re big and physical.”
In the Bellflower tournament, Trabuco Hills won the championship, beating Chaminade in the final.
