If all goes as expected, two City Section rivalry football games will be played on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Coliseum this fall.
Negotiations are in their final stages to have San Pedro play Banning at 1 p.m., with Crenshaw taking on Dorsey at 10 a.m.
Those two games are among the best in their respective leagues, the Marine and the Coliseum.
A contract could be signed next week to finalize the games. The Los Angeles Unified School District is negotiating with USC.
