Make sure the name of junior Kevin Howell of Thousand Oaks is on the list of top two-way players this season.
He has an interception in all three Thousand Oaks victories.
Last week against Highland, he caught four passes for 85 yards and two touchdowns.
He’s got speed, instincts and toughness.
The combination of Howell and 6-foot-3 junior quarterback Max Gilliam, who passed for 154 yards and four touchdowns, gives the Lancers (3-0) a terrific duo to build around.
Thousand Oaks appears headed for a Nov. 7 showdown against Newbury Park (3-0) for the Camino League championship.
